Home – a collection inspired by clothing that lasts a lifetime, inspired by brands that are built to last for the outdoors and everyday people. Mixed with naval and workwear clothing, this collection looks to the past for inspiration for the present.
A collection that features waterproof durable materials, with functional qualities, prepared for all weather conditions. Designed and built to sustain and survive a harsh weather environment, such as the Irish landscape. It draws upon primary sources of old hiking gear and uses what is available to me, to rearrange and to generate new design ideas for my own collection. It takes inspiration from my family heritage of my great grandfather George, who captained the ship that brought back W.B. Yeats' body from France and is inspired by the famous Irish poets' work and Irish Punts which he commissioned.
