BP or not to BP – the question of the century. This series of work is an exploration of the symbiotic relationship between the oil industry and the Western economy. This work examines how, similar to cryptocurrency, the materiality of the oil industry has a blockchain sentiment to it. It introduces the artist’s personal reflections on the oil industry through the scope of childhood memories.
