Rural Growth and Economical Development are extremely important ingredients to aid recovery from the pandemic and have a sustainable future. The major project was aimed at understanding the changing needs and behaviour of the current remote workforce, to provide an easy way forward for them to relocate to the Irish towns and villages and use the conducive spaces and opportunities in remote working hubs to further their career. The result of this effort is the HubLoc service platform.
HubLoc is a service solution that supports co-working hubs and communities in rural Ireland to build reassurance and confidence among remote workers about moving to a new town and working remotely. The service has four aspects:
- HubLoc Digital platform (Website+Mobile app)
- Community Buddy System
- Welcome/Orientation kits
- Subscription plan (template)
Furthermore, the future roadmap of the service will include interactive aspects like HubCircle (Network of Hubs) and HubFest (Gathering of hub managements, sponsors, employees and others).
The implementation of HubLoc service proposal will not only better the lives of several remote workers but also support Irish Government's goal to increase rural growth, population and economy in Ireland.
