For my project I chose the topic of the garden and the importance it holds in our lives, particularly during the pandemic. I have made 3 outcomes relating to the topic, each highlighting a different aspect of the garden.
'Green Lens' is a Riso printed zine that highlights the significance of the garden and how the interest of gardening has grown over the past year. Within that zine sits a tip in called 'I Need Seeds', that includes some gardening advice for beginners.
'The Online Garden' is a digital garden webpage, consisting of illustrations that have been animated to sway and encourage a sense of relaxation. This space has been created for people who don’t have a garden or need a small break.
'The Clay Installation' is a collection of clay pieces that have the impressions of flowers/leaves pressed into it. The clay captures moments of suburban garden life, and preserves them as a potential keepsake for future generations.
