Oli Ryan is a multi-disciplinary artist, sound designer and composer. He works with sculpture, sound, words, video, music and performance. With the playful irreverence of a smart alec(k), and the grim, existential hollowness of a sad sap, his work often reflects these states of being.
He is the kind of guy that finds writing things like this about himself a little embarrassing, so luckily for him, I’m here to carry that burden on his behalf, for a price, naturally.
Unfortunately, I find it hard to charge an appropriate amount for my time and knowledge, often under valuing myself while feeling sheepish about getting paid for what I do. So I may need to ask Oli what he thinks is appropriate for a statement of 50-150 words, and whether he is paying by the word.
In which case I’d better use up every single one? I think that’s fine.
