I Can't Remember What Happened, But I Remember Exactly How I Felt

'I Can't Remember What Happened But I Remember Exactly How I Felt' is a series of works created by Laura Carolan. They attempt to encapsulate the experience one may have whilst reflecting on personal memories, capturing a warped or artificial perception of this moment.
The resulting narrative is delivered through a purposefully naïve application of bold colours, imaginative elements and mildly chaotic scenery. They are based in liminal spaces and cityscapes that may appear familiar to you, the viewer, in some way.
