Anthology of Attention

Laragh Conroy

Concerned with sympoiesis, attunement, worlding and embodiment, my work incorporates elements of sound, sculpture, writing and performance. I am interested in how mediums such as audio and text may be harnessed to create sculptural forms and speculative spaces.

Adopting an almost diaristic approach in dealing with my experience of the world, I collect materials as I go, from words and images to sediment and sounds. My practice is rooted in questions around ecology, materiality, ontology and knowledge production. I embrace failure, temporality and exploration.
