I am on a mission to be a good ancestor. I dare to dream of a future where humanity can play forever and reach beyond the boundaries of infinity. A future where we are uninhibited by the throes of rivalry and competition, and are instead inspired by tools, protocols and networks of hyper-collaboration.
The vision of this future is what compels me to be a designer. The title acts as a cultural passport to approach posterity; it is also one of the best frameworks for defining value in a way that doesn’t depend on profit.
My practice lies at the intersection of AI, mindfulness and cognitive augmentation. 'Threads' is an exploration of how we can design minimalist digital environments and AI powered tools to increase our creative potential, improve our focus and protect us from the attention consuming rabbit holes of the internet.
