During the lockdown I was missing inspiration. Being stuck at home with my toddler, I began recording through photography, the objects around the house that were attractive to her. The images I use for my paintings show my constant search for a shadow or a natural light source. This painting is called 'Temptations' as my daughter would continually try to open the kitchen drawers. The painting is minimalist and modern, showing a child's view of something so ordinary yet very tempting at the same time. The painting is part of a collection that shares the same theme of furniture and ordinary objects and resources.
